Please note: NG Employment Network is a division of VetJobs and Military Spouse Jobs, and as such falls under all policies for the parent organization(s) as listed below.

Personal information collected is FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY (FOUO) and protected under the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a). Unauthorized disclosure or misuse of this PERSONAL INFORMATION by any party, may result in disciplinary action, criminal and/or civil penalties.

PRINCIPLE PURPOSES: To be used by members of the NGEN, VetJobs, and Military Spouse Jobs team, to include its staff, independent contractors, and partner organization connected through Memorandums of Understanding in support of military employment initiatives.

ROUTINE USES: To facilitate career placement assistance and render support to military affiliated job seekers.

DISCLOSURE: Personal Identifiable Information disclosure by the job seeker is voluntary, however, some information is required in order to complete registration. Failure to provide all the requested information could delay employment assistance. All information provided on the registration site is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption and placed on a secure cloud based server. Only individuals who have been identified to have “need to know” access, to assist in your career search, have access to your information.

In order to fully understand your rights, we encourage you to read the Privacy Policy and this additional information. Military Spouse Jobs reserves the right at any time and without notice to change this Privacy Policy simply by posting such changes on our site. Any such change will be effective immediately upon posting.

Because we want to demonstrate our commitment to your privacy, this Privacy Policy notifies you of:

What Information We Collect and How We Use That Information

Our applicant registration forms require users to give us contact information that may include name, email address, address, interests, and similar information.

Military Spouse Jobs is aware of the need to keep private information secure and confidential. We consider this a top priority. We do not collect any information about you that can identify you as an individual except for the information collected to register as an applicant or to donate to the organization. We do not share any additional information with any other group, and do not sell any names or mailing lists to outside groups. We do not request or store sensitive information from our visitors, such as credit card or social security numbers. It is the policy of Military Spouse Jobs not to sell or distribute any private information of our donors, applicants, or other users.

We do not allow companies to have access to the candidate information in our system. We share resumes and work directly with companies to place military spouses, dependents, caregivers and gold star family members into jobs with the permission of those we work with, but we do not allow these companies access to any files.

SECURITY

All information provided to Military Spouse Jobs is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt, or scramble, data before you send it to us. We also protect account information by placing it on a secure portion of our site that is only accessible by certain qualified employees of Military Spouse Jobs. Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot ensure or guarantee the security of such information, but we can guarantee that we do not share or allow access to any of the information you provide, and we do everything possible to protect the information we have been entrusted with.
